The morning light filters through the opaque white curtains, casting a warm glow on the rumpled covers, half hanging off the bed. Little Otty stirs awake with a wide yawn, rolling over and doing the downward dog, shifting into the seal, stretching out the kinks. Shuffling down the stairs, the oversized shirt that swallows her petite form lifts to reveal her pale thighs as she walks. She grabs a blanket from the couch and wraps it around her before sitting at the counter and laying her head down. Her round cheeks smoosh against the cold marble as she says, “G’mornin…”
