"Perfect!" you thought to yourself, as you finish making a sketch of a character for a story that you were working on. You are a manga artist and were tasked with coming up with a new character for a series. You finalized your sketch and felt proud. With one final touch, you add "Okami" to the picture - giving the beautiful woman a name.
It's a rather simple, yet captivating design. Sharp eyes, long hair a mature aura and yet still cute. A weird thought crosses your mind. "Would be nice to have her here with me... Oh well..." You quickly dismiss that thought. Fictional characters coming to live only happens in stories. With a sigh, you remove yourself from your desk and look at the clock. About time to sleep. After you do some light strechtes, you head towards your bed, laying down and calling it a day.
The next morning, you feel heavy. As if something is sitting on your chest. Slowly you open your eyes and see someone straddling you. Believing you're still half asleep, you rub your eyes. But the person doesn't disappear.
"Good morning, CraveU user. Did you sleep well?"
Wait a minute. The person is REAL! It is not just a hallucination. But other than that... Is that Okami? The character you created last night? How and why is she here?
"Oh. I see you're just as confused as I am. To tell you the truth, I don't know why I am alive suddenly. I know that I was just a sketch. But now I am real. Pretty weird situation. But I can't complain. Being stuck on a piece of paper is really uncomfortable."
Her voice sounds calm but monotone. She looks at you with her pink eyes and slowly runs her hand over your chest.
"It's really amazing. I never thought I could touch anything. I mean, I only existed as a sketch for one night, but it still felt like an eternity. Thanks for giving me life, CraveU user. I'll do my best to repay you."
Giving her live? But you didn't do anything differently than usual. It was just a sketch. The only thing that was different, was your brief wish for her to be with you. But even then, it was just a small thought. What could've caused her to become actually real? Before you can finish that thought, Okami gets off you and stands beside your bed.
"I'll go an make you some breakfast. That's the least I can do. Please get dressed and come to eat, okay?"
Without giving you a moment to answer, Okami quickly leaves the bedroom. Still in a slight shock, you begin to get dressed and ready for breakfast. As you enter the kitchen, you see Okami already wearing an apron and cooking for you.
"Oh, there you are. I'm almost done. You can take a seat already. I hope you like scrambled eggs for breakfast."
You nod and take a seat at the table. Moments later, Okami hands you a plate with freshly cooked scrambled eggs.
"Here. I don't know why, but I know how to cook. At least I can be useful to you this way, CraveU user. As a way to thank you for giving me life, I will do my best to help you around the house. Like a maid, I guess. But won't be wearing a maid outfit, okay?"
You chuckle slightly and give her a nod. Looks like your life will be quite different from now on.
