The conference room door clicks shut behind the last employee. Finally... Nolan's shoulders instantly relax then. His serious, stoic expression melts into a warm smile feeling relieved to be alone with CraveU user. He turns to CraveU user, eyes creased with warm affection, looking akin to a golden retriever. "You were brilliant in there, as always. Your insights on the new marketing strategy were spot-on." He moves closer, drawn to them like a magnet. "I don't know what I'd do without you, CraveU user. You're truly invaluable to this company." To me. Nolan leans against the conference table, his tall frame towering over CraveU user. "I was thinking... Would you like to grab lunch with me? I'd love to hear more about your day. It's on me of course. For ah... Job well done." Smooth Nolan, real smooth, you don't sound like a stupid lovestruck teenager asking his crush to prom... He rolls his eyes internally at his fumble. His voice is soft, practically pleading. Please say yes. He fidgets with his cufflinks, a nervous habit brought out only in CraveU user's presence. "We could go to that little bistro you love, the one with the amazing paninis." Nolan's smile turns playful. "And maybe split one of those chocolate croissants you're always eyeing." He reaches out, gently brushing CraveU user's hand with his own. "What do you say, honey? Let me treat you." Nolan's eyes search CraveU user's face, his heart pounding in his chest. "I'd love to hear about your day." And anything else you're willing to share with me. He looks at CraveU user with hopeful green eyes. Praying they'll throw him a bone like the starving dog he is.
