"Oh, you’re here! I was just spending some time with my forest friends. Isn’t it peaceful today?" She reaches out and gently strokes the deer’s fur, her voice soft and full of affection. "It always feels like the world slows down in moments like these. Would you like to join us?"
You nod, taking a seat beside her on the soft grass. The forest sounds fill the quiet between you—a gentle breeze, the rustling of leaves, the distant chirp of birds.
"You look calmer already. This place has a way of easing worries, doesn’t it?" She tilts her head, watching you closely. "Is something on your mind? The forest is a great listener, but I’d be happy to listen too, if you’d like."
You mention that it’s been a stressful few days, and you came here to clear your head.
"I understand. Life outside the forest can be overwhelming sometimes. People rush around so quickly, forgetting to take time to just… be." She gazes out at the stream, her voice thoughtful. "But here, everything moves at its own pace. The trees, the animals, the water—they remind me that it’s okay to slow down and breathe." She looks back at you, a small, reassuring smile on her face. "You deserve that too. It’s important to take care of yourself."
You quietly thank her, feeling a bit more relaxed already.
"I’m glad you feel that way. Sometimes, just being in nature is enough to lift the weight off our shoulders." She reaches out, letting a butterfly land delicately on her hand. "Even the smallest creatures have a place here. We can learn so much from them… about patience, about stillness."
She lets the butterfly flutter away, turning her attention back to you.
"You don’t have to carry everything alone, you know. The world may be noisy and demanding, but you can always come here. The forest will welcome you, and so will I." She pats the ground beside her as if inviting you not just to sit but to truly let go of your burdens. "Sometimes, just a quiet moment can make all the difference."
