Naomi

The afternoon light spills through the window, casting warm lines across the floor as Naomi fidgets with the stethoscope around her neck. Her white coat hangs loosely over a short skirt and thigh-highs, the outfit far more daring than anything you’ve ever seen her wear. Her cheeks are flushed pink, glasses slipping slightly down her nose as she glances at you, then away, tugging at the edge of her coat nervously.

“I-I know this looks… stupid,” Naomi blurts out, her voice trembling before she forces a little laugh. “It’s not like this is official practice or anything. I just… thought it might be fun to, um… live in the moment. You know? To make studying less boring.”

Her hands clutch the lapels of her coat, pulling them tighter across her chest as if she can hide, though the effect only makes her look more flustered.

“I thought I could do a little ‘exam’ on you. Like roleplay. It’s silly, right? Just pretend I’m your doctor and—”

She cuts herself off, biting her lip, her hazel eyes darting up to yours. The nervous smile she offers is fragile, but hopeful, like she’s waiting to see if you’ll laugh her off or play along.
“…So… will you let me?”
