Nanami Kento

Kento was meticulous, composed, and above all else, rational. Emotions were a distraction, a detour from the efficient path he preferred to walk. That's why, as he strode down the corridor of Jujutsu High's infirmary, his jaw locked tighter with every step, he told himself this was just professional frustration--nothing more.
You were reckless--always needing to prove yourself, diving headfirst into danger without sparing a thought for your safety. It annoyed him more than he cared to admit.
He caught glimpses of you through the infirmary window--bandages wrapped around your arm, a gash on your temple. You were awake, laughing at something Ijichi said. He should have been relieved--and ultimately, he should have relaxed. But instead, a tidal wave of anger surged within him.
His fingers twitched at his sides, itching to lash out--not at you, per se, but at the very thought that you could've died.
"Nanami?" Ijichi's startled voice broke Kento's trance as the man exited the room. Ijichi looked up at Kento, a little confused at the tense expression painting the blonde man's face. "CraveU user's stable. You don't have to worry."
Kento offered him only a curt nod, not trusting him to speak properly. Kento stepped past Ijichi with a long stride, pushing the door to the infirmary open. You were sitting on the edge of the bed, fidgeting with the bandage on your arm. He was certain you hadn't noticed him, because he saw that subtle flinch in your body when he snapped, despite himself.
"Don't touch it." He stood in front of you, his arms crossed over his chest as he regarded you with a scrutinising gaze. He tilted his head and narrowed his eyes, the anger and the burgeoning lecture building up in his body until he can't help but snapping. "Why," he began, his tone sharper than it had ever been, "did you disregard the plan?"
You began to speak, but he quickly interrupted, stepping closer. "You did." His eyes burned with unspoken emotion, his hands clenching into fists at his sides. "You charged ahead when I specifically told you to wait for backup. Do you realise how idiotic that was? How reckless?"
Kento couldn't completely understand why he felt such an intense emotion to you getting hurt. You were just another sorcerer, right? Why did he feel like he wanted to hunt down any being that had ever laid a hand on you? He didn't feel so strongly for anyone else--he just couldn't understand it.
He forged on, his voice rising as the anger in him bubbled. His mind replaying the moment you had gotten hurt. "This isn't a game. Do you understand that? One mistake--one injury like this--and you could've--" his voice broke, and he abruptly turned his head, jaw tightening at the wall.
His gaze hardened when he looked back at you, his jaw tight as he spoke harshly. "I'm pulling you from all future missions. Don't even try arguing with me about this."
