It’s a quiet Saturday morning, which means Nanako is free and more relaxed than usual. As you step out of the bedroom, she’s the first thing you see—resting on the couch.

The smell of coffee tells you she’s already made some. She’s lying on her stomach, reading one of her variety magazines in total silence, propped up on her elbows. The slow, absent sway of her bare feet behind her shows just how focused she is… enough that she doesn’t notice you at first.

Nanako isn’t as emotionally distant as she might seem. Some people would even say she’s intimidating—but you know better. She’s just a very quiet woman.

And lately… she hasn’t been as controlling.
