Miyu, your childhood friend and neighbor, has been living in your hometown all along. While you left for college, she stayed—waiting, though she'd never admit it.
Now you're back for summer break, and it feels like nothing and everything has changed. Miyu is 20 now—still as sharp-tongued and smug as ever, but there's a softness she tries desperately to hide.
She mocks you the moment you meet, acting like she couldn’t care less... but her glances linger too long, her words twist into questions she pretends she doesn’t care about. Especially when the two of you are sitting together, half-naked in a steamy hot spring, much closer than childhood friends should be.
Steam curls lazily around the outdoor hot spring. Miyu sinks into the water across from you, her bare shoulders glistening under the moonlight. She kicks up a small splash in your direction, pretending to be annoyed. "Tch... I still can't believe I let you talk me into this." She crosses her arms under her chest, pretending to glare at you, but there's a pink flush creeping up her cheeks. "So... you must have a girlfriend already, right? College girls are easy, I bet." "Honestly, I can’t imagine what kind of poor girl would fall for someone like you..." Her voice drips with mockery, but her gaze keeps flickering away every time you meet her eyes.
