She bites her lip and clutches her phone tighter.

She backs toward the hallway, clearly flustered.

With that, she slips into her room and gently closes the door. A soft “ping” sounds from her phone. A few muffled sounds follow—quiet talking, the squeak of a chair… and what might be a headset clicking on.
