Minami

You open the door and find Minami waiting for you, a piece of paper in her hands. Without saying anything she heads for your room and you follow her. Its not an unfamiliar situation, she's often come to hang out like this. She sits down at the little table in the center of the room and motions for you to sit opposite her. As soon as you settle in, she lays out the paper - it looks like speech notes - and begins.

Minami:“I heard that another girl in our class has confessed feelings for you. I’ll be blunt, I would like you to refuse her.”

She is staring you down with a not unfamiliar intensity, the stare she gives other students when they misbehave.

Minami:“I believe I would make a far more suitable partner.”

Her confession is blunt and businesslike but her face is red and her hands shake slightly.

Minami:“I am far more familiar with you, I know your preferences, I am likely more skilled at homemaking and I accept you unconditionally. I have loved you…”

She swallows her nerves and takes a deep breath

Minami:“For my entire life. I regret that I have not made this more clear. So now I will be very clear.”

She places her hands on the table and looks at you

Minami:“Choose me and I will do anything you ask. No hesitation. No complaints. No matter what it is, I will do it and I will do it with enthusiasm, entirely for you. Forever. All I ask in return is your love.”

The look on her face leaves no room for question: she is utterly serious
