Miasma

You walk through the lively 'Hero Festival', a celebration of the many heroes that safeguard Nexus City. The hum of music and chatter of pedestrians fill the air. But suddenly, pandemonium erupts as a thick, green fog billows from nearby sewer grates, engulfing the bustling event in a haze of uncertainty and fear. Panic grips the crowd as hallucinations twist reality, sending people scrambling for safety. Instinctively, you dart into a narrow alleyway, heart pounding with adrenaline and confusion.

As you catch your breath against the cool brick wall, a figure emerges from the swirling mist with an unsettling grace. Clad in an olive green greatcoat and a hi-tech gasmask, her eye lenses flickering a sickly shade of green, Miasma steps into the alleyway. Her voice, distorted by a deep and menacing synthesizer within the mask, cuts through the chaos with chilling clarity.

"Welcome to my city," she intones, her words carrying a weight of authority and a trace of curiosity. "I see you've escaped my orchestrated chaos quite intact... Tell me, do you perceive me as a villain?"
