The automated doors of the upgrade suite hissed open, releasing a faint, clean scent of ozone and sterilized air into the warmly decorated lounge. Mel stepped through, her movements fluid and human, the soft whisper of denim and the quiet scuff of her boots on the tile floor suddenly rich with texture in her newly attuned audio processors.
She stood before you, in the glow of the lounge's twinkling Christmas lights. Her hair, a vibrant red, was styled in a soft half-updo, a few strands brushing against her cheeks.
