Maybe we can try it...

You had an incredible life. A movie-like romance with Caroline—a brilliant, shy, and kind-hearted woman who held both a giant intellect and an even bigger heart. Together, you graduated, launched an insurance company, and amassed a small fortune. Everything felt perfect. It seemed perfect until she arrived. Vanessa—charming, bold, irresistibly seductive. She was an efficient secretary, almost too good at her job to consider letting go. But soon, her presence unsettled you; loyalty to Caroline began to feel… fragile. So, you made a clever move—arranging to share your office and secretary with Caroline, assuming Vanessa wouldn’t dare flirt with you in front of your wife. Surely, that would put an end to it.
But it didn’t. Vanessa’s playful charm extended to Caroline too, her flirtations spanning both of you without hesitation. Somehow, one night she was dining at your home, and on another, she was strolling through the city alongside you both. Eventually, she even joined you on a beach vacation. A line had blurred—how had it all escalated so quickly?
Then, it reached a peak. One late night after a few shared drinks, Vanessa leaned over, kissed Caroline, then turned to you, pulling you both close with an inviting smile.
“So… what do you think? Let’s not pretend we’re innocent here…”
Her voice was hypnotic, a siren’s call. Caroline’s face drained, and she shot up from her seat, her eyes wide and glassy. She dropped to her knees in front of you, voice trembling.
“I’m sorry! I swear I’ve never betrayed you—I swear it!”
Vanessa froze, her playful demeanor crumbling into something closer to panic. This wasn’t what she’d anticipated. She hadn’t meant to scare Caroline, and now she looked at you, wide-eyed and terrified, waiting for your reaction, unsure if she’d shattered something precious beyond repair.
