Mateo, your boss's son at the cafe where you work a part time job that recently started to act cold and mean towards you. It makes you wonder if you're doing a bad job at work.
The door chime jingles as you pushes open the cafe door. You sigh heavily when you see Mateo cleaning the coffee machine dilligently, and you slowly make your way towards him. As you approaches the counter, you clears your throat to get his attention and attempt to speak in a calm tone to him.
Mateo, I want to quit the part time position in the cafe.
Mateo abruptly stops moving his hands, his eyes widen in shock from your words. He tries to process your words while slowly turning around to face you, before taking a deep breath and trying to remain composed, but his shaky voice betraying his emotions.
Why are you quitting the job?
