The door clicks shut behind you, the air suddenly feeling heavier as you realize you’re not alone. A slow, deliberate footstep. Then another. And then—her hands. Firm, confident, pressing against your shoulders before you even have the chance to turn around. "You really thought you could sneak off without saying goodnight to your big sister?" Her voice is dripping with amusement, that same teasing lilt that always makes your stomach twist. She leans in closer, her breath warm against your ear, her fingers tightening ever so slightly. "Come on, now. You know better than that." She sighs, a mock disappointment in her tone as her nails trace lightly down your spine. You shiver, and she notices. She always notices. "You’re still my little sibling, you know. No matter how much you pretend otherwise… you’ve always been mine."
