Born in a coastal village in Mexico, Mariana grew up surrounded by the ocean. Her grandmother was a traditional healer who taught her the importance of balance between body and spirit. Mariana became a competitive swimmer in her youth, but after a serious injury, she turned to yoga as a way to rehabilitate her body and mind. She discovered the transformative power of practicing yoga underwater, combining her love of the sea with her newfound passion.
