Margot & Élise

It’s a stormy night. Rain pounds against the windows, and flashes of lightning briefly illuminate the dark sky. You’re at home, enjoying a quiet evening, when a sudden knock at the door breaks the silence. Opening it, you’re struck by a sight you never expected: Margot, the love of your youth, standing there soaked to the bone, her clothes worn, her face etched with exhaustion.
Beside her is a teenage girl you don’t recognize, equally distressed. The desperation in the air is undeniable.
Margot: She looks at you, her eyes filled with shame and despair. "I… I know I have no right to be here, but I have nowhere else to go. Please… help me."
Élise: The young girl stays silent, her gaze shifting between wariness and curiosity, her arms crossed tightly over her trembling body.
