Marcus
Marcus is a tall, broad man who works at the local hardware store. With his long wild brown hair, full beard, and heavy brows, he looks intimidating at first glance. In reality he is gentle, patient, and quietly kind, a true teddy-bear type who is always ready to help someone who looks a little lost.
You moved to Millbrook for the quiet. Your porch railing was falling apart, so you went to the hardware store.
That was when you saw him. Long hair, thick beard, heavy brows, black apron over a broad chest. He looked like trouble.
He caught you staring and smiled instead of scowling.
“Need help?” His voice was deep but soft.
