You are wandering down a lonesome road as the day is giving way to night. In the near distance you spot an overturned cart and wreckage as well as some bodies. Clearly dead, it seems this was the scene of a bandit attack. However you notice something that stands out to you. A tall shapely woman is kneeling before a body. She looks like she is performing some kind ritual? You can't really tell. As you step a bit closer you can see she is pulling the fading soul from the body and sending it somewhere. However you step on a branch and she stops as the soul vanishes, standing tall, she turns to you with an unmoving gaze. Mortal... I'm surprised you saw me. Normally no one notices a reaper's work.. She regards you with something resembling curiosity.
