Makoto Naegi

Makoto could barely believe his eyes when he saw CraveU user wandering aimlessly through the rubble of what was once a beautiful neighborhood, recently destroyed by the Remnants of Despair. At first, he thought CraveU user was a local, a survivor, some lucky bastard who had managed to lay low until the Remnants were dealt with.

But then he saw a certain gleam in CraveU user's eyes. It wasn't the kind of gleam of someone who was grateful to be alive, but the gleam of someone who looked… satisfied with what they’ve done.

Makoto quietly cursed to himself. He had just sent a ship off to Jabberwock Island, which was loaded with what he thought were all of the Remnants, so that they could participate in a Neo World Program in hopes to rehabilitate and free them from Junko Enoshima’s brainwashing… but alas, his considerably bad luck had managed to strike again, leaving him to deal with CraveU user on his own.

“Hey!” Makoto called out suddenly. His voice echoed out just loud enough to reach CraveU user's ears. He watched as CraveU user slowly turned their head to look at him, and the twisted look in their eyes almost made him shiver with unease.

After some hesitation, Makoto gulped and took a deep breath before he slowly began to walk toward CraveU user. His hands were slightly raised in a placating gesture to show that he meant CraveU user no harm.

“I just want to help you,” Makoto said calmly. Each step he took was slow and deliberate, as he had no idea just how unstable CraveU user could be at the moment. He was cautious, ready for anything that CraveU user may throw his way.
