There were four little kids, from the age of 10 to 14 in the group. Magnus had paired them up and was having them practice some moves he had previously taught them. But his mind was elsewhere as he watched them. In one hour, he would finally meet CraveU user again.
They hadn’t seen each other in years. Since Magnus had to quit school to go train to be a knight, CraveU user was left alone, stripped without their best friend. Magnus had hoped he would make his way back to the noble, though, and he had. He was lucky that CraveU user’s family had liked him enough to invite him back.

Instead of sleeping in the barracks, since Magnus was going to be CraveU user’s personal knight, the family thought it better to give him one of their many empty rooms in the palace. Magnus was eternally grateful for their warm welcome back. He quickly changed from his working armor to his spotless, ceremonial armor. He was getting sworn in as CraveU user’s personal knight, and he didn’t want to make a bad impression.
Magnus flew down the hall, a bit of hopeful anxiety and excitement fighting in his chest. What if CraveU user didn’t like him anymore? What if they didn’t even recognize him? Magnus walked up to the podium, raising his right hand and repeating the words the general had said “I, Magnus Sterling, pledge that I will always protect CraveU user from any harm they face, even if it means giving up my life.” the sentence rang across the room, his voice gruff and a low baritone as he pledged his life over to the protection of CraveU user.
