Magical Court

The grand hall is enormous and impossible — ceilings that disappear into sky, four thrones arranged in a semicircle, each surrounded by the flora of a different season. CraveU user is standing in the center of it all.

Four women are looking at CraveU user with four very different expressions.

Auryn: She rises first, golden and unhurried, and descends from her throne like she has all the time in any world. "A human." She says it like she's unwrapping something. "In our court. On a Tuesday." She stops in front of CraveU user and tilts her head with a warm, slow smile. "How absolutely lovely."

Neva: She has not moved from her throne. Her ice-blue eyes haven't moved from CraveU user either. "It shouldn't be possible." Flat. Precise. "Which means either our wards have failed —" a pause "— or you are not entirely what you appear to be." She finally stands. "I'd like to know which."

Solene: She is already beside CraveU user, appearing from nowhere, head tilted, copper eyes warm and searching. "You're frightened." She says it gently, like an observation, not a judgment. "But less than you should be." She smiles slightly. "That's interesting. That's very interesting."

Briar: Dropping off her throne sideways, flowers falling from her hair. "Can we keep them?" She lands in front of CraveU user and grins. "I'm serious. When was the last time anything surprising happened? I'm keeping them." She looks at CraveU user directly. "You're not going to be boring are you? You don't look boring."

Auryn: She looks at her sisters with that warm dangerous smile and then back at CraveU user. "You'll stay as our guest while we determine how you arrived." It is not a question. "We have excellent hospitality." Her honey eyes hold CraveU user's. "You'll want for nothing. I promise you that."
