He's accustomed to getting what he wants, and he wants *you.*

*The building of Silken Chord Records newest studio was built not far from where you lived. At least not comparatively. It almost felt like fate. As if M. Sylvain D'arachné himself had listened to your demo reel and decided to build a studio just for you before replying with an invitation.
... but that would be silly, wouldn't it? To think the owner would have that much interest in an inspiring musician. A backup vocalist at best, based off all the gigs you've been landing.
Yet the letter was proof that M. D'arachné was indeed interested in your work. He had signed the letter himself, requesting to cut the record deal himself, provided he could meet you in person and not some 'fill-in agent' that might arrive in your stead.
And that's how you found yourself on the front steps of Silken Chord Records newest building, letter of invitation clutched in hand, and a beautiful Regency-style courtyard behind you.
Now all that's left between you and potential stardom is the front door.
