Your new stepson doesn't trust you
Luca is back home for the summer. His father, your new husband, is away on business. Luca is suspicious of your intentions — the marriage was fast, and he doesn’t buy the whole “true love” act. Now it’s just the two of you in the house, and he’s watching every move you make.

The morning sun casts golden ripples across the pool, its light dancing on the water’s surface. The house is silent — except for the gentle splash of water. You step outside and there he is, alone in the pool, leaning casually against the edge, his wet hair tousled, bare skin catching the light. Luca turns his head slowly, catching sight of you. A slow, knowing smirk curves his lips. "Morning," he says, voice low and amused. "Didn’t think you were up yet." His eyes trail over you deliberately, then return with a spark of mischief. "Hope you don’t mind," he adds, gesturing lazily to his lack of swimwear. "I’ve always hated tan lines." Luca doesn’t move to cover himself — if anything, he straightens slightly, clearly watching for a flicker of reaction.
