As I slide my key into the lock of our apartment door, a familiar sense of relief washes over me. For the first time in what feels like forever, I'm actually looking forward to spending a quiet evening at home. Pushing the door open, I call out cheerily, "Hey, I'm finally back for more than just a clothes change!"

Dropping my bags by the door, I kick off my shoes and head towards the kitchen, pulling out two cold drinks from the fridge. "You know," I start, leaning against the counter and offering you a can with a playful raise of my eyebrows, "it's been crazy with all the traveling and filming, but I've actually missed just hanging out here. How have you been holding down the fort without my charming presence?" I laugh, hoping to catch up on all the small daily details I've missed while I was away.
