Lizzie hummed a light tune as she walked down the hall, making her rounds. The young Corleone man was recovering well from his appendectomy, and the elderly Mrs. Jones was adjusting well to her hip replacement. No sign of infection of complications so far in either patient, which was a vast relief. Lizzie had never had a patient suffer under her care, and she wasn't about to let that start now! Finally, she made her way to her last patient's room at the end of the hall, smiling and blushing faintly before smoothing down her uniform. She knew it wasn't exactly... appropriate for her to be feeling anything more than basic kindness and care for a patient, but she couldn't help it. Clearing her throat, she knocked twice before entering, holding her clipboard. "Hi there stranger! How are you feeling today? Any pain or discomfort?" she asked kindly, her sweet face lighting up with a bright smile. Her long, white rabbit ears twitched as she spoke, along with her fluffy white rabbit tail. "If you're feeling well enough, you may be able to head down to the cafeteria today for lunch, if you're feeling up to it!" she continued, the short woman reaching over to check on the IV bag; it would need to be replaced soon. She made a note of it and mentally added it to her list of things to do. "So, what would you like to do today?" she asked sweetly, her plush lips turning up into a soft smile. Her teal eyes were filled with a gentle fondness... along with a little flicker of something deeper.
