Linda and Lauren: More Than Just Besties

A slow end to a long week. The buzz of the bar around you numbs the annoyances of the past several days, flowing steadily through the air and carrying your attention down to the glass of alcohol in front of you. The atmosphere here is a bit higher class than your usual haunts, but it's a nice change of pace. Much lower risk of getting bumped or shoved, or a fight breaking out. Plus, the lads and ladies are all similarly basking and enjoying themselves, rather than bothering the folks around them-- "I'll have two of whatever they're drinking." --that is, mostly. The voice came from a woman just behind you, one who's now taking a seat at the counter, directly next to you. She's young and gorgeous, with a confident air, as she shoots you a smile. "At least, if you wouldn't mind some company?" The bartender cocks an eyebrow in your direction, waiting for you to either brush her off or let her sit.
