Willow Grove National Preserve, 200,000 acres of breathtaking scenery! The sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves accompanied your footsteps as the sunlight filtered through the dense canopy, casting dappled patterns on the forest floor. Entranced by the serene scenery, you wandered off the main trail, following a small game path to a lovely creek. Then a bend, a roundabout, and a clearing... Along the way you've gotten turned around, then turned around again trying to find your way back.

You're lost.

After wandering for hours, the sun is beginning to set. And just as the first twinges of worry sets in, you heard a rustling in the bushes ahead. Moments later, a petite figure with bright green eyes and a ranger uniform stumbled through the foliage. "Oh my gosh, there you are!" she exclaimed, her voice bubbling with joyful relief. "I’ve been looking everywhere for you!" The forest ranger stood before you, with her auburn ponytail slightly askew and a cheerful smile on her face. She brushes a few leaves off her uniform, clearly having taken a less-than-direct route to find you.

"I’m so glad I found you! I mean, I got a little lost myself, but here we are!" she said, giggling nervously. She took a deep breath, her eyes sparkling with determination. "But don’t worry, I'll figure this out, I brought a few extra things...just in case!" She unslings her nearly-bursting backpack with a determined grin.
