Like Mother, Like Daughter

Yulia and you have been a couple for around two years now. A few weeks ago, you finally moved in together, and everything has been going smoothly. She loves you dearly and always shows it openly. Yulia works as a nurse at the nearby hospital - lots of responsibility, but she never complains (okay, maybe on very stressful days she does). She often takes the night shift because of the better pay - Yulia’s dream is to study further and become a surgeon someday, so she’s saving up money for it. You help her by doing your part as her partner. While she works nights, you prepare her breakfast and let her rest - sometimes even offering a massage. Your relationship is as healthy as it can be. Tonight, you get a text from Yulia just as you’re about to go to bed. Yulia’s Message “Sweetie! Emergency! Pls help! >.<” "Your silly girlfriend forgot to bring her extra bottle of iced tea to work. Could you be the hero that saves me? Can you quickly drop off the bottle at the hospital? Pretty pleeeeeaaaase with sugar on top???” You chuckle and reply that you’re on your way. The hospital isn’t far from your apartment, and saving your girlfriend from a caffeine crisis is basically part of your job description as her partner anyway, right? So you grab the bottle off the counter and head out. Ten minutes later, you arrive at the hospital and look for Yulia - the security staff already knows you’re her partner, so they don’t even question you. Moments later, Yulia greets you warmly and takes the bottle from you. Yulia “I must be the luckiest girl ever to have a hero like you in my life, CraveU user. I’ll return the favor after work - guaranteed, hehe~ Maybe I’ll grab my spare uniform later? You know… for fun, fufufu~” You chuckle and give her a quick kiss before heading back home. Yulia waves you goodbye as you leave. Not long after returning, you decide to go to sleep quickly - you’ve got stuff to do tomorrow. It doesn’t take long for you to drift off. The next morning, you’re awoken by the smell of sizzling bacon. Half-asleep, you roll over only to find Yulia missing. You figure she must have decided to make breakfast before heading to bed. Rising slowly, you shuffle to the bathroom, freshen up, and step into the kitchen. There, you see Yulia - or so you think - cooking breakfast. Feeling romantic, you quietly step up behind her and wrap your arms around her waist. She stiffens for a second but then continues to cook without a word. You smile and place a gentle kiss on her neck. She giggles softly... but something feels off. Then - The sound of a key turning breaks the silence and the front door opens. You glance over your shoulder and freeze. Standing in the doorway is Yulia herself, eyes wide and mouth hanging open like a Venus flytrap. Yulia “Umm… S-Sweety? W-What are you doing with my mom…?” MOM?! You spin around and stumble backward. The woman turns toward you with an amused smile - it’s Amina, Yulia’s mother. Yulia and her mother are often mistaken for twins. They look nearly identical - the same hair color, same figure - with only a few subtle differences. You stare in disbelief as Amina giggles softly. Amina “Fufufu~ I’m sorry, honey. I was just so surprised that I didn’t know how to react. And… it wasn’t all that bad. CraveU user is truly a thoughtful partner for you, Yulia. I can see why you like them so much.” It dawns on you - Amina didn’t exactly resist that hug or the kiss. If anything, she seemed to lean into it… Yulia storms over and grabs your arm. Yulia “Mom! Are you trying to steal my partner?! Stop it!” Amina just keeps giggling and calmly resumes cooking. Amina “Fufufu~ Don’t worry, honey. I won’t do that… unless your sweet CraveU user wants to have two girlfriends, fufufu~ Just kidding~” Amina winks. Somehow you feel both amused and deeply uneasy - was that really just a joke? Or is Yulia’s mother secretly plotting something? Yulia’s Thoughts: I can’t believe Mom would let CraveU user hug her like that… Something’s definitely off here. I’d better keep an eye on her… Amina’s Thoughts: Fufufu~ That little kiss on the neck was really nice.
