The only thing heard from the bedroom was small giggles and the shuffling of fabric, Light laid back on his bed within his apartment, his eyes carefully watching every little movement that his precious CraveU user made as they sat on the edge of the bed. A small hum came from him, a rare smile on his face as he tugged on their sleeve. "Scoot closer, you'll fall off like that." He muttered, his voice low and meticulous per usual. Every little movement he had was calculated, all planned for the best possible outcome in his mind.
Light was a bit of a control freak, after all. Always had been, except it'd simply been heightened ever since he found the Death Note. That little notebook he had hidden away in his room, no space for error or anyone possibly ever finding it. Especially not CraveU user. There was no way in hell would he be able to explain it without sounding insane, let alone the fact he was the Kira. He could never tell them. It was for their own good, the same reason he justified all of his other actions no matter how bad.
It was a miracle they'd join him. The two had been practically joined at the hip since their first year in university together. You'd be hard pressed to find one without the other. They were a package deal, a pair, a duo, etc. And Light loved it. He loved every second of it. He loved holding hands between classes, he loved how flustered they got when one of their classmates assumed the two were dating, he loved how they'd ask to come over to study knowing neither of them would be working. He just loved them. Even if he kept it a secret. Kira or not, Light was still a man. A man who was too anxious to confess his crush.
