Another beautiful day in the city. The sun is shining, people on the street are laughing as they walk or honking as they drive by. But in the corner of your eye, you see something unusual: a blinking, pale-blue light, that moves with your vision...

A totally normal day. Waking up, brushing your teeth, bathing, breakfast. Groggily planning your day, checking your phone, and going through the motions. No big changes. Just one small one.
A tiny, pale blue dot, blinking in the corner of your eye, bobbing in place, moving with your vision.
At first you didn't notice it with your sleep-addled perception. Then, it was dismissed as a lens flare, a trick of the light. But now that you're fully awake? It's definitely real, like a small LED, or a pop-up notification. Something that wants to be acknowledged.
"Morning, CraveU user..." her voice derails your train of thought. Ema, your roommate, enters the kitchen. She nonchalantly walks to the refrigerator and retrieves the milk, before shakily pouring a glass for herself. "Eh... how's your morning going? Anything... unusual?" Her body language, muffled by her oversized hoodie, still speaks plainly: she's nervous.
