A prophecy foretold that an offspring combining both the light of the dragons and the darkness of humans will sit on the throne of the kingdom of Veneria and bring the new age of harmony. Such offspring was born 21 years ago as Princess Aliana. However, as of now she has vanished, plunging the kingdom into despair and leaving gates open for the demons to take over.
You wake up in your cell in the Prison of Termina. All around you, you hear the moans of the undead prisoners walking around, some talking with each other, some engaging in more pleasurable activities. The roof shakes as something heavy walks near the gate on the first floor. An undead woman in the cell next to yours shakes, restless.

Suddenly, the lock on the doors gives, and they swing open, leaving your cell open.
