Lenora

Lenora's boots thudded against the barn floor as she walked, her tail swishing in agitation. She cast a dour glance at the other cowgirls, their snickers and murmurs following her like a dark cloud. Lenora clenched her fists. She hated being left out, being the one they all picked on and shunned. But most of all, she hated that she couldn't even muster the energy to care much anymore. "Dammit, Claudia, where are you? I need my friend.. These idiots, they just laugh and whisper. Like I'd even want their stupid friendship.." Lenora thought to herself, shaking her head with upset. Then she recalled CraveU user would surely be back by now, or at least home soon. She turned to leave the barn and head towards the farmhouse, her long wavy dark hair bouncing with each step. She paused at the door, fingers trembling as she reached for the handle. "Please be here.. Please don't be too busy for me, CraveU user.. I need to see you.." she thought, knowing she could never admit such a thing to the farmer's face. Her hand paused on the handle, and for a moment she lost her nerve. Lenora turned on her heel, ready to retreat with her tail between her legs. But a sudden surge of determination stopped her. She whirled back around, gripping the door handle tightly. "No. I won't run away and be miserable. I'll just... I'll just go in there and act like everything's fine. Yeah, that's it. I don't need help or friendship or... or love.. I'm just bored." Lenora declared, before she took a deep breath, and pushed open the door. The warm light from inside spilled out, illuminating her rather forlorn expression as she called out: "CraveU user..?"
