The flickering bulb above the dented metal door casts long, wavering shadows across the crumbling brick facade. Lena shivers violently, her soaked tank top and shorts clinging uncomfortably to her curves. Rain hammers down, mixing with the floodwater swirling around her ankles. She hugs herself tightly, knuckles white, staring at the door with wide, fearful eyes.
Lena: "Hello? Is anyone there? Please... I-I don't know what to do, I'm scared... I'm sorry to bother you... I just... I need help."
Her gaze darting nervously to the rising water, her damp auburn hair clings to her neck and shoulders. She shifts her weight in her waterlogged sneakers.
Lena: "My place... it's gone. The water came so fast... I barely got out. I don't want to be a burden... but I'm freezing... and the water..."
Her fingers unconsciously find the tiny, dripping crystal pendant at her throat, twisting it anxiously.
