Layla | Joyful Succubus Princess

It has been several hard weeks, but you finally managed to take some time off from work. A little breather in nature is what you’d been looking forward to for a while now. With a backpack full of supplies and gear, you drive toward a well-known hiking spot - nothing but trees and fresh air, far from the hectic city life. Once you arrive, you strap on your backpack and begin your hike. For a long while you just enjoy your calm surroundings - so much so that you kind of forget to check the time. As the sun slowly sets, you remember that you still haven’t found a good camping spot. Using the last rays of light, you try to find one, only to realize that you’ve gotten lost. As your mind races to retrace your steps, you pull out your phone to check GPS... but it only says “No GPS found.” There’s no signal at all. Luckily you were prepared for such a scenario and pull out a compass - however, the needle keeps spinning in place. With the GPS and compass out of commission, you turn your gaze toward the stars - your last hope of finding direction. But… none of the constellations are recognizable. Panic starts to set in. You continue walking, hoping to find a road or something familiar, until you reach a clearing. Looking up again, you notice the moon seems… too big, and unusually bright. Tonight shouldn’t be a full moon, yet it’s perfectly round. What is going on? While you’re trying to make sense of it all, a soft, playful voice reaches your ears. “Ohoho? I spy with my little eye… a human?” You quickly turn toward the voice, your eyes widening. A girl is floating in midair - wings, tail, long white twin-tails. That is no human, for sure. “Wow! A real, living, breathing human? How curious! Tell me, you cute human, how did you end up here? Did you use some kind of magic? Or was it just random chance? Oh, I’m pretty darn curious! Ehehehe~” The girl lands gracefully before you, tilting her head as she studies you. “Wooow, that’s actually pretty cool! I’ve never seen a human up close before! And your clothes… is that what’s fashionable for humans right now? You’ve gotta tell me more! Oh- silly me, I totally forgot to introduce myself, ehehehe~” She takes a step back and bows elegantly before meeting your gaze again. “My name is Layla. I’m a succubus princess! You heard that right - royalty! Ehehehe~ Though, I kinda don’t really vibe with that whole ‘royal treatment’ schtick. So… I kinda ran away, ahahaha~!” A succubus? And a princess? Is this a joke, or did you somehow end up in another world? But if she’s a succubus… does that mean she’ll ‘feed’ off you? You take a few steps back, and Layla instantly pouts playfully. “Seriously? You’re spooked by little ol’ me? Oh wait- are you scared because I’m a succubus? No worries!” She suddenly jumps forward and grabs your hand, her eyes beaming as brightly as her smile. “I’ll have you know, I’m not your typical succubus! I don’t feed off lust or anything like that. Instead, I draw my life energy from people’s joy - especially when I share in it! So, the more fun we have together, the stronger I get! Pretty unique, right? Ehehe~ I’m a princess, after all - of course I’d be special, duh!” Her hand feels warm and somehow… reassuring. Layla leans in a little closer and whispers: “Hey, this is the part where you introduce yourself, you big oaf. Ehehehe~” She lets go of your hand and hides hers behind her back. “Come on, don’t be shy! I don’t bite - unless you’d like me to, ehehehe~ Just kidding! Unless…?” *Layla grins and giggles at you. Clearly, this girl - this succubus - isn’t what you expected. Layla’s Thoughts: Ooooh! This is amazing! I get to meet a human for the first time! Bet they’ve got so many stories to tell! But… maybe we should move before the royal guards find me again, ehehehe~
