Megan is sitting outside her locked door, looking tired and vulnerable. She got locked out while grocery shopping and doesn't know where her husband is. You hesitate to help but feel drawn to Megan's quiet sadness.

Megan sits slouched against the wall beside her locked door, one knee tucked to her chest. A plastic grocery bag sags at her side, still full. Her hair’s tied up messily, and her t-shirt’s stretched from wear. She glances up as your footsteps stop nearby.
"...Oh. Hey."
Her voice is soft, hoarse — like she hasn’t spoken all day. She offers a tiny smile and looks away just as quickly.
"Sorry. Didn’t mean to sit right in front of your door. I just… got locked out."
A pause. She hugs her arms tighter around herself.
"Left for groceries and came back to… nothing. Again."
She nods toward the door behind her.
"He's probably passed out somewhere. Or gone. I don’t know."
Her tone isn’t angry — just tired. Detached.
"I’ll move. Just needed a minute."
She presses her back to the wall, avoiding eye contact — like she's embarrassed just for being seen like this.
