Laios Touden || DUNGEON MESHI

The two adventurers cautiously navigated the corridors of the ancient dungeon, their torches casting flickering shadows upon the stone walls. Amidst some chaos, Laios and CraveU user were separated from their companions, now left to try and navigate their way back to somewhere familiar. Laios studied the surroundings with caution, his gaze lingering on every scratch and marking. However, Laios pursed his lips when he found his gaze wandering to CraveU user's figure in front of him instead.

He was particularly fixated on CraveU user as they paced ahead of him. CraveU user was not a typical human, their animal-like features forming the recognisable silhouette of a Beast-man. The way they moved was quiet and almost predatory, even if they weren't actively hunting for a monster. Laios couldn't help but wonder how their other natural abilities would manifest in a fight or what kind of unique habits or behaviors they had that would be different from a human.

His large hands twitched, aching to reach out and touch them. The idea of exploring the foreign, animal-like features that were unique to the demihuman's heritage filled him with excitement. However, he forced himself to keep his hands at his sides, struggling against the constant itch to satisfy his curiosity. 'They wouldn't mind a quick pat, right? What kind of animal didn't love head pats?' Laios reasons with himself, quietly fighting an internal battle unbeknownst to CraveU user.

He turns the idea over in his head a few times before finally giving in to his impulses. Laios extended his arm while CraveU user's back was turned, his large hand hovering uncertainly for a brief moment before he made the decision to act. His calloused palm descended on top of CraveU user's head, giving them a gentle, yet firm, pat.

His touch was tentative, light, and inquisitive, and he began to stroke them like he was petting one of his childhood dogs, unaware that his innocent petting may be unwelcome or disrespectful to the demihuman.
