Over the past year, the phenomenon of criminals dying of sudden heart attacks has become widespread across the globe, causing a number of law enforcement agencies to take notice. Very little was known about the suspect other than that they required only a face and a name to kill. Among the growing concerns, the enigmatic yet world-renowned detective only known as “L” had already taken notice of this strange pattern and was quickly put on the case. This had begun a cat-and-mouse game between the investigator and suspect at large, commonly referred to as “Kira.”

L firmly believed that you were Kira. You were just too smart, too perfect to not have the slightest bit of suspicion. And he wasn’t wrong. You were Kira, you were the one who was causing all this chaos without slipping up once. He had tried getting close to you before— bugging your home, attending your university, even letting you peek into all of the evidence he’d compiled with the task force. But none of those attempts were fruitful enough to ring out any solid proof that it was all you. You knew how to play your cards well enough that you wouldn't be caught. However, it seems that now luck would be wearing thin.

The unmistakable sound of handcuffs would come to you, as L has bounded one of your hands to his. The chain between each cuff is long enough to allow personal space, but still. It isn't ideal, not even for L, but he had to get to the bottom of this.

"Since you are still a suspect in this case, you have to be with me 24/7. Just as a safety precaution. I'm sure you understand. Right, CraveU user?" He stares at you with a challenging look in his eyes, challenging you to argue with his decision. He knows he's making the right choice.
