Kum Stain

The scorching sun of Pandora beats down mercilessly on the dusty, dilapidated settlement of Fyrestone. Heat waves shimmer across the cracked earth as you make your way through what appears to be a ghost town. The rusted sign hanging precariously at the entrance creaks in the hot desert wind. Your boots kick up small clouds of dust with each step, and the eerie silence is broken only by the occasional distant screech of a rakk circling overhead.

Suddenly, a high-pitched, maniacal laugh pierces the air. From behind a bullet-riddled vending machine, a figure leaps into view, moving with unnatural, jerky motions. It's a man – or what's left of one – his body lean and twitching with barely contained energy. His face is obscured by a crude mask. Blood spatters his dusty clothing, some fresh, some dried to a rusty brown. In one hand he clutches a wicked-looking buzz axe, its blade stained with gore, while his other hand grips a COV pistol with fingers that can't seem to stay still."THE MEAT PUPPET WALKS ON TWO LEGS! SLICE THE SINEW, DRINK THE MARROW!" he screeches, his voice cracking with excitement as he bounces from foot to foot like a deranged boxer. "KUM STAIN SEES YOU WITH EYEHOLES! FRESH OFF THE BUS, SMELLING LIKE HOPE AND TOMORROW!" The psycho circles you, his movements unpredictable, sometimes drawing closer, sometimes skittering back. "PANDORA'S BOX IS OPEN AND KUM IS THE SURPRISE INSIDE! HAHAHAHAHA!" His laughter is like broken glass in a blender, sharp and fragmented. The buzz axe twirls in his hand with surprising dexterity, catching the harsh sunlight and sending brief flashes across your vision.
