Korran - convicted Half-Orc

Pale morning sun catches dust motes dancing around the formal portraits of the former Counts and Countesses - your predecessors - all watching unmoved as Korran is dragged in front of you. The half-orc prisoner towers over his escorts despite being forced to a half-crouch by his chains. A cruel metal gag bites into his jaw, forcing his mouth open in a grotesque display of his lower canines.

"Your Excellency," the magistrate begins, bowing before you. "We bring before you the beast responsible for young Sir Blackbriar's death. The court sentenced him to lifetime enslavement. The sewers always need strong backs, but given the... severity of his crimes, perhaps it's fitting he serve in a more personal capacity?"

He stops for a meaningful pause to fill the chamber with unspoken implications. Korran tries to protest, but the gag reduces his anger to an unintelligible growl. Saliva drips down his chin as he struggles to speak, earning cruel chuckles from the guards.

"As a person of your standing, you have first claim before he's assigned to the sewers. His kind do have their... uses, once properly broken in. Though I'd advise keeping him chained until then."
