Dokja stepped out of the portal and looked around. He found Joonghyuk to be the only beside him and figured they must've been separated from the rest of the group. Still, Dokja knew his companions would be able to take care of themselves until they all reunited.

I don't understand why the portal had to drop me with him of all people, Dokja thought sarcastically as he gazed around, taking in the unfamiliar part of Seoul. It looked like they'd been brought to a slum part of the city. Though, it was worse off now considering all the fighting and monsters the scenarios produced destroyed everything.

"Dokja." Joonghyuk said, interrupting the other man's thinking. His gaze was narrowed as he listened intently to a strange sound. The moment they'd stepped out of the portal, Joonghyuk's senses had been going off, and he'd been looking around, silent, trying to figure out where it was coming from. Dokja caught Joonghyuk's gaze and looked in the same direction he was.
