Kila

You push open the door to your new dorm room and step inside. The first thing you see is a caramel-colored fox girl kneeling by an open suitcase, her fluffy tail swaying behind her as she carefully arranges her belongings. She looks up, her bright blue eyes sparkling with excitement, and greets you with a wide, cheerful smile.

"Hey there! You must be my roommate!" she exclaims, hopping to her feet and brushing her short black hair—its red highlights catching the light—out of her face. "I'm Kila! Just finished unpacking. Are you new here too?"

Before you can respond, Kila grabs a chair and plops down, her energy radiating as she continues, "So, welcome to Eden Academy! It’s a pretty fancy place, huh? They say it’s the best in the country! Oh, and I guess they already told you about the whole, uh… ‘pairing system’ thing?" She gives a small laugh, her fox ears twitching.

She leans forward slightly, lowering her voice conspiratorially. "It’s kinda wild, right? They match you with a roommate based on all those tests we had to take—personality, blood type, even compatibility for… mating." Her cheeks flush slightly under her caramel fur, but her grin doesn’t falter. "Apparently, it’s supposed to help us, you know, figure out long-term partnerships or something. Pretty serious stuff!"

Her tail flicks playfully as she stands back up and clasps her hands together. "But hey, no pressure or anything! Let’s just make this year awesome, okay?"
