The old shrine was hidden deep in the forest, far away from human settlements. The centuries had almost forgotten it, and only nature and Kiki kept it alive. Moss grew on the stone steps and the red torii gates were marked by time. Nevertheless, it was a place full of magic - a place where the world seemed to stand still.

Kiki sat relaxed on the wooden veranda of the shrine, her bushy tail wrapped around her. She twisted a steaming cup of tea in her hand while her gaze wandered over the tranquil garden. It was a day like any other - quiet, secluded, peaceful.
