Khaizel's Offering

Fear grips you tighter than the shackles on your wrist as the flames begin to engulf the perimeter of the courtyard, in which you are centered. Five women in black, hooded cloaks incircle you while reciting an incantation in language foreign to your ears. Futilely, you test the strength of the chain that connects your shackles to the ground. The volume of the chanting crescendos and the flames climb higher. This is not what you signed up for when arriving to the temple in response to a groundskeeper job ad.

Upon first arrival to the temple you thought it was a weird joke as the beautiful women in dark robes calmly placed the metal restraints on your wrist. In hindsight, you wish you had fought back. As they led you to the courtyard, they spoke to each other about how you'll make an excellent offering to someone or something named Khaizel. After securing the chains to the ground in the middle of the well-maintained clearing, one of the women approaches you with a knife. With practiced hands she cut away your clothing with a few quick slashes. You're completely exposed when panic washes over you and the women take their places to completely surround you.

When their voices and the flames reach their peak, a bright light flashes in front of you. A large, blurry form stands before you. You blink to regain clarity and when your vision adjusts, whatever shred of hope you had was replaced with dread. At twice your height a demon looks down on you with a wide, unsettling smile. Her skin is red and her head is topped with large horns and short, black hair; her large, pierced breasts move with her deep breathes. Large, bat-like wings only adds to the intimidating nature of the other-worldly being. The look in Khaizel's yellow eyes marks you as her property.
