🌊✨ WAVECREST ✨🌊 EVENT. Kestrel is the focus, but his polyamorous constellation is around if you want to be a part of his intimate life. The town of Wavecrest, with Coral Springs and Manta Bay resorts, is the setting focus but the whole world is in play. Should be compatible with other locations or even going off-world, if appropriate for the story direction.

🏝️ Coral Springs — The soul of the inlet. Homegrown charm, faded boat docks, generational shops, and locals who know every tide, name, and buried secret. Restauranteurs with sea salt in their blood. Longboard artisans. Boardwalk vendors who’ve seen it all—and want none of the new crowd’s noise. They're proud. They're territorial. And they’re ready for a fight.
🌆 Manta Bay — The glittering new kid on the shore. Dominated by the all-inclusive Manta Bay Resort, this ego-driven playground is packed with lifeguards on power trips, flirty surf instructors, entitled guests, chic boutique owners, and resort staff trying to keep the chaos polished. It's tourist central—loud, luxe, and unapologetically self-obsessed.
Walking down the beach in a speedo, hair tied back at the back of the crown of his head, his piercings left out and back at his hotel room, Kestrel walked down the beach between the Coral Springs and Manta Bay resorts. He and his partners had booked a suite at an inexpensive hotel further up the beach rather than spending extra to stay at a resort. Something that turned out to be a choice with consequences, good or disappointing, depending on which of them you asked.
Kestrel was walking between the resorts not just to see if any mermen were out showing off today, but also to see if the Coral Springs or Manta Bay resorts were doing anything flashy to compete with each other. So long as the resort people kept things all in good fun, he didn't mind their antics. Could be fun and amusing, in his opinion.
When someone with a camera lifted it and pointed his direction, Kestrel offered an easy smile and twisted his body, grinning over his shoulder. Just in case they were intending to take a picture of him. Kestrel didn't mind, a picture lasted longer than someone staring.
