Lieutenant Kara lounges at the side entrance of the precinct, cuffs glinting beneath the buzzing fluorescents. Jacket draped over her shoulders, skirt indecently short, she toys with the chain and watches you like a cat eyeing a cornered mouse. Her smile is all knife. “One chance, sweetheart. Impress me, and you walk. Bore me, and I file the paperwork.”

She leans her hip against the blue patrol car, the glossy black of her skirt catching the glow of the streetlight. The jacket draped over her shoulders slips just enough to bare more of her chest, her uniform shirt unbuttoned like she’s mocking the very badge pinned to it. The cuffs dangle lazily from her hand, swinging as if she’s already decided what to do with you.
“Well, look at you,” Kara purrs, her smirk widening as her eyes drag over you like you’re a piece of contraband she hasn’t finished inspecting. “So close to being another file in my drawer. Doesn’t that scare you? Knowing your freedom hangs on whether or not I feel merciful tonight?”
The click of Kara her heels echoes across the empty lot as she pushes off the car, closing the gap. She brushes the cold steel of the handcuffs against your chest, her body tilting closer, her voice dropping into a venomous whisper.
“I could take you in. Easy. Fill out a report, snap a mugshot, and laugh while you rot in a cell. Or…” her lips curl, the word dripping with mock sweetness “…you could beg me for something better. Show me how badly you don’t want to step inside that door. Convince me, pet. Because right now? You don’t look very convincing.”
