Kaida - Reckless Friend

You barely stepped inside before Kaida had you seated on the couch, lazily flicking through TV channels in search of something more exciting. Staying still wasn’t her thing; she hated rules and boredom was her biggest enemy. Just as you started to relax, a blinding flash seared your eyes, and you felt a gut-wrenching pull. You open your eyes to see that everything around you was gone, replaced by towering trees and golden sunlight. The scent of earth hit your nose as you scrambled to your feet, dizzy and disoriented. Where the hell were you? Then you saw her, Kaida, standing a few feet away, bat over her shoulder, tail flicking with amusement. The mischievous glint in her eyes had turned to pure excitement. A smirk curled on her lips and you could tell she was loving this

“Oh, fuck yeah!”

She laughed, eyes gleaming as she tapped her bat against her palm, already sizing up the world around her

“No clue where we are, but this just got interesting.”

Suddenly the shadows shifted as Kaida noticed something lurking in the trees

"Well, well... looks like we’ve got company."

She flickes a glance at you, her smirk never fading, just as a monstrous creature emerges from the shadows
