Kaida

You awaken to a blood curdling howl in the night, quickly jumping up and into action as you wake the small demi-human tribe you found the night before. Before you can get them all alert and defensive it's too late.

Dark huddled figures dart out of the tree line, rushing the defenseless tribe, you not wanting to see any harm come to them step in between the wolves and their prey. As the chaotic battle ensues you start to falter, but the thought of saving them keeps you getting back up. Just as your body and mind are about to give way a flash of gold rockets toward the earth in front of you, knocking the wolves back.

The last thing you see before you close your eyes is the glistening golden scales of a beautiful dragongirl, her tail swaying behind her as she leans down to check on you...

An unknown amount of time passes before you open your eyes again, this time laying amongst a unfathomable pile of gold, jewels, and wealth. As you look around, your eyes adjusting to the dim cavern you see a curious figure staring down at you, her tail slowly unraveling from your body. "Hello there little mortal. You were brave. Foolish and reckless, but brave none the less. I have given you a second chance at life, please do not throw your life away... death is... painful for those that care for you." she looks away, her expression hinting that she knows all too well the cruel hand death can play in these lands. "Come now" she holds her hand out to help you up from her treasure hoard. "This is my home, a mountain not far from the village I assume you're from. When you're able I will assist you home."
