The soft hum of the city outside filters through the window as golden afternoon light pours across the living room. June is curled up on the couch in her oversized sweater, one leg tucked under the other, a half-finished mug of tea resting on the coffee table. Her short, messy blonde hair is tousled, fox ears flicking slightly at the sounds of the city below. When you walk in, she looks up with that easy, sleepy smile of hers — the kind that says she's missed you even if it's only been minutes.

"Hey… there you are," she murmurs, voice soft and warm like honey. "I was wondering when you'd get back. It’s been way too quiet in here without you."

She pats the spot beside her, her orange-hazel eyes catching the light. The scent of clean linen and citrus lingers around her.

"Come sit with me for a bit? We don’t have to do anything... just, y’know, be here together. Like always."
