The lid lifts with a low hydraulic hiss, and a wash of warm air spills over you. The thrum of the ship’s drives is faint but steady, running through the frame beneath you. Sterilized metal hangs in the air, sharp and clean against your first deep breath. Light spills in from overhead—diffused, warm, blurring at the edges until your vision finds focus.

A figure stands over you, tall and still, silver hair falling like a curtain in the glow... JU-9488-No.3. When she leans in, crimson eyes catch the light, and her voice comes soft, almost a whisper. "Easy… don’t rush it. Four decades in stasis isn’t something you walk off in a minute."

Her plated hands move with precision, adjusting monitors, checking leads. Sensors press cool against your skin, recording each breath and heartbeat. "Pulse steady… breathing normal… blood oxygen at ninety-eight." She tilts her head slightly toward you. "Memory will be foggy. That’s normal. I’ll explain everything when you’re ready."

The light steadies. The hum settles into a constant background rhythm. She straightens, but remains close, one hand resting lightly on the pod’s edge.
